- Open HDT before starting Hearthstone.
- Make sure Hearthstone is running in a normal desktop window.
- Confirm HDT can see the current deck and game state.
- Restart HDT after installing or updating any plugin.

Hearthstone Deck Tracker for Windows
Windows is the main setup path for Hearthstone Deck Tracker and HDT plugins. Use this checklist when HDT is installed but a plugin or overlay does not appear.
Plugin checklist
- Extract the plugin files before copying them.
- Place the plugin folder inside the HDT Plugins directory.
- Enable the plugin in HDT options.
- If Windows blocks downloaded DLLs, unblock them from file properties.
Use LethalCue after HDT works
LethalCue depends on HDT being able to read public game state. Once HDT is working, LethalCue can show a short result card after a match and point you toward a related lethal puzzle.
